Our work in education covers schools, colleges and universities. We aim to help Welsh people and organisations develop the skills they need to succeed internationally, developing a nation that can successfully work with other countries and cultures. The focus of our work is to support the internationalisation of Welsh universities, further education colleges and schools, sharing Wales’ expertise with the world and facilitating the world coming to Wales to provide positive international experiences for institutions, staff, students and pupils.
We promote and support the exchange and mobility of students, scholars and academics into and outward from Wales and the UK and higher education collaborations and partnerships between universities, industry and governments. We shape and drive internationalising higher education through thought leadership and policy in Wales, the UK and globally.
We promote and support the exchange and mobility of Further Education students and staff into and outward from Wales and the UK. We also support further education and skills collaborations and partnerships between colleges, industry and governments across Wales, the UK and globally.
We provide teachers and schools in Wales the opportunity to work with colleagues across the world to enrich the learning of pupils in Wales. Through school partnerships and professional development opportunities for teachers we help schools in Wales equip young people with the skills to live and work in today's global society.
